The VM-936E comes with a lot of standard features making it fit right in the Baileigh Industrial line up. The casting of the machine is forged using Meehanite for extra rigidity meaning- less vibration- offering better tolerances and longer tool life. The spindle on the head an industry standard R-8 which allows tooling to be sourced anywhere. The 9' x 36' table of the VM-936E milling machine is hardened- then surface ground and finally polished offering a longer and more precise life. The X axis has a power feed for convenience and ease of use. The VM-936E milling machine uses a 220 volt single phase motor that is connected to a belt driven head that can produce speeds as low as 20 rpm and up to 2400 RPM. A halogen work light is also included with this great package.
